BALTIMORE (November 17, 2005) – Chesapeake Real Estate Group, LLC purchased 21.6 acres of industrial land in the Fairfield industrial area in Southeast Baltimore City, 1 mile from I-895 and 10 minutes south of downtown. CREG purchased the land known as Fairfield Business Park from Conoco Philips for $2.2 million.

The Fairfield area is experiencing a revival. Access to highways, labor and the Port facilities make the location attractive to growing businesses. The land, zoned M-3, is currently used for car parking. Plans are being formulated by CREG to develop the property to accommodate growing manufacturing and industrial companies in Baltimore. CREG obtained a No Further Requirements Determination from Maryland Department of the Environment.
