BALTIMORE (April 19, 2006) - Chesapeake Real Estate Group, LLC is pleased to announce two new hires and the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary, Bay Contracting, LLC.
Bay Contracting will provide general contracting, construction management, and consulting services for Chesapeake Real Estate Group and selected clients. “In-house construction expertise significantly helps us to better evaluate and complete new projects,” said Doug Schmidt, Partner at Chesapeake. “Bay Contracting makes Chesapeake Real Estate Group a stronger company by providing complete development and construction services.”
Jeff Dillon serves as Director of Bay Contracting. Mr. Dillon has over 20 years general contracting experience at Nardi Construction. He built such projects as Marshfield Business Park in Baltimore County, Gateway 270 in Clarksburg, and Cotler Business Park in Rockville. Deborah Phillips has also been hired as a Project Manager. Mrs. Phillips has 12 yrs of experience also with Nardi Construction.
Chesapeake Real Estate Group and Bay Contracting currently have the following projects in progress:
- 1300 Mercedes Drive: 100,000 sq.ft. expansion of a 180,000 sq.ft. office/warehouse building in Anne Arundel County
- 3545 Fairfield Road: 21.4 acres under development in Baltimore City
- Steeplechase 95: construction manager for an 850,000 sq.ft. industrial park development in Prince George’s County
- Eastern Avenue:18,670 sq. ft. existing building and ½ acre pad site build-to-suit in Baltimore County
- Arundel Preserve: 10,000 sq. ft. retail strip center in Anne Arundel County
